God

Recently, I went to a conference as a volunteer musician, to play, and hopefully get a lot of contacts, and I had hoped, a lot of sales of my CD.

Well, God is evidently telling me to slow down…it did not go as “I” had hoped. Did you ever play out the “future” in your mind, creating it in ever increasing detail, down to the last i dotted and t crossed? Is that telling God how to do His job?

So, I am going to do what a dear friend advised me to do, months ago. I am taking the piano songs, and making some videos for YouTube. I think I will be putting them on My Catholic Voice, too. By the end of this week, I hope to figure out the next “new thing.”

I have two on YouTube so far. One about Catholic Relics..a traveling display that came to our parish. You should really email Dale and get him to your parish, as well. His email is at the end of the video.

The second has verses of scripture with pictures I took. The message I hoped to give is that God is there, even in our darkest days. And that we are called to be His Light to the world. Let me know what you think!

God Bless all of you.

But yesterday, when I was cleaning, I remembered that I stepped on something sharp, I thought it was a piece of glass, picked it out of my toe, and [...]

Too often, we do not get accurate reports concerning the service of our military personnel. Those of us who are proud to be Americans, are also proud to acknowledge that service and the many sacrifices made by the military and their families.
